Jill Hayes, MA, LIMHP, LMHP, LADC
Jill Hayes Counseling Services, LLC exists to assist individuals and families within the community who are struggling with mental health illness and addiction. I seek to provide a non-biased, non-judgmental, therapeutic environment where clients are encouraged to explore and overcome the obstacles that keep them from achieving their life goals.
One of the toughest steps towards recovery from addiction or mental illness is the very first one. You are not alone! I am here to help you to take that first step toward change. I have found that holistic (body, mind, spirit, and emotions) mental health and drug and alcohol treatment services can help individuals and families find healing and achieve greater health and wholeness, resulting in changed lives. I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing space for you to explore and better understand your feelings and emotions, ways of thinking, and patterns that create difficulties in your lives.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I typically utilize Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy concepts and techniques. MBCT combines mindfulness techniques like meditation, breathing exercises and stretching, with elements from cognitive therapy to help break the negative thought patterns. I have also found that a combination of psychological and spiritual tools helps bring about significant growth and change. Providing quality client care is my priority.
I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and a Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (PLADC) in the state of Nebraska.
